Pedigree

 

Lexi was the smallest puppy I had ever had to that point when she was born and she was little when she went to live with Pam and Mike, but she ended up exactly the same size as her Grandma Jewel and moves and shows WAY more animatedly ... so she  proved to be a natural in the show ring. At 2.5 years old, she is 23 inches tall and 81lbs, and her natural movement, short back and fantastic temperament are a testament to what I am trying to accomplish in my breeding program. She is owned and very much loved by Pam and Mike Bersteinsson, their young son Connor and her fur uncle Parker of Calgary (in fact, they live 2 minutes from us!!!!).  They have done such a wonderful job loving and raising both Parker and Lexi, and have become our friends over the past 5 years.

She was sitting on 4 points after a fantastic weekend in February 2009 where she went Winners Bitch and Best of Winners on Friday for 2 points and Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday for another 2 points.  She also went reserve on Sunday ... she was handled by her co-breeder Cindy Chan and they both did great!

Lexi and her baby, Connor .... he just turned one and LLLOOOOVVVVVEEES his puppies!!!

Grandma Marina took Lexi up to Grande Prairie in June 2009 and put another 4 points on her so now she sits on 8!  Thanks so much to Marina for taking her and working so hard with her!

Lexi finished her Canadian Championship in November 2009 at just over 2 years old and in doing so she became the 4th puppy in her litter to do so!  It is always so fun to be at the end of the leash with a dog that like to show like Lexi does ...
