So as fate would have it, this little one ended up staying with us when we were not planning on keeping a puppy from our 2 fall litters of 2009.  She was heading to her home when we got the phone call that her prospective new owners were not going to take her after all.  Oh well, were pretty happy to  hanging on to her until the right home came along .  She is a lovely little Seeker baby which makes her so special to us, hopefully she will follow in her parents' pawsteps. So, Busy, who is now renamed Ruby, has headed to her new home, here in Calgary.  She will be living with Carla Giesbrecht.   Mica, Ruby and Jasper out for a run!!!

Ruby is a little gem .... She was not the most outgoing in her litter, but she is one of the prettiest puppies in her litter and one of the prettiest I think that I have produced.  She has a short back, a quite dark eye, lovely head, I am pretty excited about her future. 

In just a few short months in her new home, Ruby is an outgoing spitfire starting obedience classes and her show career.  New momma Carla is doing absolutely fantastic things with Ruby, in her first show day in March 2010, she showed like a tiny pro! 

In July 2010, Ruby went Best Puppy in Breed her 2 days entered!  She is absolutely getting the hang of it now!  On Sunday, she was owner-handled by Carla as well as I conflicted in the rally ring! Way to go girls!

In September 2010, Ruby was entered at the RCC 2010 National Sieger Show here in Calgary, and she showed wonderfully and earned an SG-1 rating under longtime breeder/judge Lucy Ang. 

In October 2011, Ruby and her littermate Tala both earned their HICs with flying colors, and I am a very proud Grandma!!!

Ruby went back to the show ring in December 2011 with her owner Carla at the lead this time and they did really really well.  Not only did Ruby win her class both days (with competition), but she also went Reserve Winners Bitch on Sunday (pictured below!!!  So proud that she is now getting a look from the judges, just a little more maturing and maybe, if we are lucky, with the help of a litter filling her out, she will finish in 2012!!!
